One of the biggest dangers of today is gender ideology, which eliminates the differences between men and women, said Pope Francis in his opening speech at the international anthropological conference that began in the Vatican on Friday.
The head of the Catholic Church called gender theory the "bad ideology" of our time, which eliminates differences and wants to make everything equal.
"Elimination of differences means the abolition of humanity"
Pope Francis declared.
He called gender ideology the greatest danger of our time. He believed that, contrary to gender theory, it is the distinction between male and female that creates a "fertile contrast".
In his speech, Pope Francis recalled a reading experience; Lord of the World in 1907 .
The Pope explained that the novel about the future sounded like a prophecy, as it projected the intention to erase all differences.
