The mayor rode the tram for a few minutes between two car rides, and this is not the first time that he drinks wine but preaches water: he promotes public transport while he himself drives a company car.
Gergely Karácsony continues his fake propaganda - that's how Metropol puts it, which published photos of how the mayor only got on the tram for a few photos, but got into a car two stops later.
Metropol notes: this is not the first time that Gergely Karácsony promotes public transport while he himself drives a company car.
Gergely Karácsony failed again: he took a tram for a few minutes between two car rides - Metropol published an article with this title. The paper says that the mayor only uses Budapest's public transport for the sake of propaganda, and then quickly gets back in his comfortable car.
Gergely Karácsony Thursday morning at the XVIII. held a press conference in the district. Metropol presented the photos uploaded to the social network, which show the mayor waiting for the tram. But the tram selfie couldn't be left out either - wrote the mayor to another photo.
However, electrification did not last long.
After a few minutes of sightseeing, the mayor got back into his comfortable car
Metropol wrote. According to the paper, photos prove that 25 minutes later, Gergely Karácsony got out of his official car at the Havanna housing estate. Metropol also noted that PR photos were no longer taken there.
He did not use public transport to continue his journey, but also his company car.
Metropol also supports this with a photo. They wrote, quote:
"It's just icing on the cake that the mayor has just signed a declaration of intent on the extension of tram 42."
This is not the first time Gergely Karácsony used public transport for the sake of appearances. In December 2022, Metropol also published a video. The mayor crossed the Lánchíd by bus on the Chain Bridge, and after the photos and videos were completed, he boarded a minibus waiting on the Buda side and continued his journey.
And in May last year, he arrived at the opening ceremony of metro line 3 in a company car. He did all this by writing on his social media page, referring to the government:
"it's about time they got out of the government cars a little bit."
