According to Századvég's director of political analysis, if the voters of Western countries want it, then the sovereignist turn may come.
Viktor Orbán has also stated the most important points at the center of his policy, such as the need for peace, the rejection of migration and gender ideology, said Zoltán Kiszelly, political analysis director of Századvég, evaluating the prime minister's festive speech, adding that the Prime Minister identified these three points, as those that most threaten freedom.
An important element of the speech was the historical review, according to which different empires always wanted to embrace Hungary, but they never succeeded. This is still happening today, and in the current situation we will be able to defend our freedom in the European elections
said Kiszelly,
according to whom the Prime Minister adjusted to the worsening situation and drew a very sharp caesura.
The Habsburgs were also better off when they came to terms with us than when they crushed the war of independence. The prime minister referred to this when he told them to leave us alone, he added.
And as the prime minister stated, there have always been and still are those who do not represent the majority interest of the nation or protect our freedom, but align themselves with imperial interests and therefore can be considered traitors, said the analyst.
The Prime Minister indicated that
if the voters of Western countries also want it, then the sovereignist turn can follow.
Trump has a chance again and we see discontent in Europe. The question, according to Kiszelly, is whether this will also be reflected in politics, because if this were to appear in mandates, it could bring about a turnaround.
Viktor Orbán also sent a message to parents, grandparents and teachers when he said that the question is not what kind of world we leave to our children, but what kind of children we leave to the world, the analyst pointed out.
