The former governor of Luhansk county will now lead the Subcarpathian district.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has appointed the former leader of the Luhansk region, Serhiy Hajdaj, as the head of the Munkács District State Administration, the Ukrainian news agency Unian reported .

Hajdaj previously headed the Munkács Járási State Public Administration Office from September 2015 to November 2018.

The former head of the district, Edgar Tokar, resigned on February 2.
