Even his own allies do not believe Gergely Karácsony's confusion about the micro-donations huddled in the money collection boxes.

The left is in an increasingly difficult situation because of the American campaign money - this is what jr. Zoltán Lomnici in connection with the fact that the left claims that he did not know about the rolling dollars, even though an investigation was also launched into the case of budget fraud, money laundering, and the use of false private documents, and in addition, his party colleague Gergely Karácsony was questioned as a suspect in the case.

Gergely Karácsony did not hear that the more than HUF 4 billion dollars essentially came from one person for the 2022 election campaign of the left. However, he could not answer where the foreign campaign money came from.

This is not the first time that instead of answers, Gergely Karácsony proves that he knows nothing.

Months after the 2022 elections, for example, he spoke about the fact that, as far as he knows, no money has arrived from abroad for the campaign of the left.

Péter Márki-Zay confessed in ATV in 2022 that the left received millions of dollars from America.

Later, a secret service investigation revealed that a total of more than HUF 4 billion had come to the left from abroad.

The left-wing parties - like Gergely Karácsony - defend themselves by saying that they knew nothing about the American money. However, the press quickly found Action for Democracy's fundraising page, where it was written months after the 2022 elections: a total of eleven people had donated money.

In recent months, recordings have been leaked on a social media site in which people close to the American organization talk about the money coming from one or two people, and one of them is György Soros.

But Gergely Karácsony also talked about micro-donations before.

However, it has since been revealed: a significant part of the hundreds of millions of forints was paid in euros and pounds to Gergely Karácsony's account.

The authority launched an investigation into many cases of budget fraud, money laundering, and the use of false private documents amounting to hundreds of millions - the legal advisor of Századvég drew attention to this. Zoltán Lomnici Jr. pointed out that his party colleague Gergely Karácsony was questioned as a suspect in the case.

"That certain dialogue local government representative, who brought the sums of money called micro-donations into bank accounts into this system, was interrogated by the NAV as a suspect," said Zoltán Lomnici Jr.

The constitutional lawyer reminded: Even his own allies did not believe Gergely Karácsony's argument about the micro-donations collected in Ládikas, and the mayor's explanation was classified as a "farce".
