The popular cat at the Neszmély Shipyard must be longing for home.

It looks like someone deliberately took Pityu, the keeper of the Neszmélyi Hajóskanzen, kemma.hu reports.

Ivett Szaniszló, the cat's owner, told the newspaper that they were very confident that Pityu would purr between their legs as usual on Sunday morning, waiting for breakfast. However, they waited for the cat in vain. By this time, they were already very worried about the kandur, they looked around the area again. Finally, around noon, it occurred to them to look at the footage from the cameras on the Neszmély ship and at the buffet. However, they did not expect what they saw.

We were not confident that we would see anything, because the two cameras do not cover the entire area. However, it is clear where it went

Ivet began.

The video shows three, presumably younger men standing in a white car at the parking lot. Pityu probably went to them hoping for a tasty bite or a petting. The boys stroked the kandur several times.

Pityu then hid under a minibus, one of them walked over and crouched next to him, and the kitten came out. The boy then picked up the cat, put it in the back seat and they drove away.

According to Ivett, the boys were not local, so they presumably did not know Pityu. His owner asks him to bring the animal back to them.

In the kemma.hu article, we remind you that the cat of the ship's museum, Pityu, lives on the ship Neszmély, who has recently become a real celebrity cat. It greeted all visitors with bursting joy and became a local attraction.

The ship's captain of the Neszmély even offered a reward to whoever brings their pet back.
