It is important for Hungarian voters to know what kind of work the Hungarian left-liberal representatives are doing in Brussels, said the vice-chairman of the European Affairs Committee of the Parliament on the M1 current affairs program on Thursday. Illés Boglárka (Fidesz) spoke about this in connection with the fact that the parliamentary committee discussed and launched an investigation on the initiative of Fidesz member of the European Parliament (EP) Tamás Deutsch on Wednesday entitled The political actions of the left in Brussels against the Hungarian interest.

Illés Boglárka put it this way: answers must be given to the questions of why and how the left-liberal representatives carry out political maneuvers aimed at preventing Hungary from receiving EU funds. He said that this is precisely why he went to the committee meeting on Wednesday

all Hungarian MEPs were invited, but the representatives of the left-liberal parties did not show up.

Momentum would give up the EU funds declared to belong to Hungary, said the politician in connection with the fact that the opposition party proposes that Hungarians have direct access to European Union funds. He recalled that Tamás Deutsch made it clear at the meeting: Hungary pays in about ten billion euros and can get back 50 billion euros during the seven-year budget cycle. The direct source, on the other hand, is only 600-800 million euros, which means the difference is huge, said Illés Boglárka.

According to the politician, the opposition party's proposal involving resignation is not surprising, because the left-liberal parties first worked in Brussels to ensure that Hungary received fewer resources from the EU. They failed to achieve that, that's why

they worked to get the EU to suspend the payment of the money

he added.

And when the European Commission made part of the funds available to Hungary, Katalin Cseh (Momentum) joined the coalition in the European Parliament that wants to challenge the decision before the European Court of Justice, highlighted Illés Boglárka, noting that this is a "gate-closing panic ” from the left-liberal representatives. He called it regrettable that the Hungarian "representatives of the dollar left" are at the forefront of this and are even "proud of it".

Illés Boglárka trusts that the European Court will make a "sane decision". The politician is also confident that the European voters will make the decision in the EP elections in June that "we can suppress the voice of these left-liberal representatives in the European Parliament".

According to the politician

it arises that interests from outside Europe also appear in the work of left-liberal representatives.

Illés Boglárka on Radio Kossuth Good morning, Hungary! in his program, he talked about how, among other things, during the European affairs committee's investigation, they are also looking for answers to "who are the ones who can even write" the texts that are, for example, in the report on the rule of law. He added that there are the same sentences that are spoken "from the mouths of the representatives of the dollar left".
