DK, MSZP and Párbeszéd have concluded an alliance, which lasts not only until June 9, they are preparing to "continue weekdays together, form a joint EP and Budapest list, and then nominate a joint candidate for Prime Minister".

The Democratic Coalition (DK), the MSZP and Párbeszéd will put together a joint European Parliament (EP) and Budapest list for the summer elections, according to the statement of the DK, which was sent to MTI on Thursday.

In the announcement, it was highlighted that according to Klára Dobrev, a member of the European Parliament from DK

they entered into a long-term, strategic agreement.

According to the opposition politician, the government has failed on several fronts, has lost control over the country's everyday life, its credibility at home and abroad has collapsed, and the "pedophile crisis has made its corruption obvious".

Klára Dobrev also expressed her opinion that

in addition to Fidesz, the opposition side is also beginning to disintegrate and splinter,

since so many opposition parties have never run in the elections, and they want to provide a solution to this with the three-party alliance, they added.

Quoting the EP representative, they emphasized

the alliance is not only talking about June 9, because they are preparing to "continue the weekdays together, they will form a joint EP and Budapest list, and then they will nominate a joint candidate for prime minister".

Mayor Gergely Karácsony, a member of the Párbeszéd board, pointed out that this current alliance is also about politics being a service, not a rule. They wrote that, according to the politician, the three-party alliance will establish a joint list, which will establish a fair and fair cooperation for the next cycle, "as the leading force of the capital's politics".

Ágnes Kunhalmi quoted in the announcement , who said: the parties that are joining together now embody the will of the voters. 80 percent of voters know and understand that

"this authoritarian, increasingly open system towards the extreme right" can only be pushed back by a stable, broad-based coalition in 2024 and then defeated in 2026

- said the socialist member of parliament.
