The police stopped the Brussels conference at which Viktor Orbán and several European politicians were to speak today and tomorrow. In the morning, HVG wrote that the second location had also canceled the event. However, the Mandiner article revealed that a third one was eventually found, where the conference began.

In the morning, Balázs Orbán, the prime minister's political director, also shared photos of the event that was already taking place on his social media page. In his post he wrote: freedom of speech will win! There is huge interest in the meeting of national conservatives in Brussels.

According to analysts, they want to silence pro-peace thinkers under pressure from the far-left Antifa movement and the left-wing mayor of Brussels.

The case took a new turn later, when the police arrived at the scene and practically banned the event citing security reasons.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also published a post on his Facebook page about the events:

"Brussels has leveled up. If someone stands up for peace, they are simply banned. There is no fairy tale, on June 9 we have to say that we do not want to leave the war!"

In connection with the case, Viktor Orbán wrote the following on his X channel:

"Belgian police decided to shut down the NatCon conference in Brussels just two hours after it started. I guess they couldn't take free speech anymore. The last time they tried to shut me up with the police was when the communists incited them against me in '88. We didn't give up then, and we won't give up this time either!"

Mandiner 's latest information, the mayor of Brussels gave instructions, referring to which the police asked to cancel the event. On the other hand, in the video of their local reporter, you can see that NatCon is still going on, only that more people are not allowed in, and those who go out are no longer allowed to come back.

British politician Nigel Farage, the father of Brexit, could no longer finish his speech because of the approaching police. Farage posted a message on his social media page after leaving the conference venue:

It's a shame what happened in Brussels this afternoon. The fact that the mayor and the police shut down a peaceful political event is more persuasive about Brexit than ever before.
