There may be legal consequences for the latest blunder of the pro-Gyurcsány mayor of Erzsébetváros. In recent years, Péter Niedermüller supplied his own son-in-law's business circles with commissions, the total value of which exceeded HUF forty million.

Magyar Nemzet learned . István Tényi, known for his public interest announcements, turned to the Capital Prosecutor's Office after the paper wrote that he had received an order worth more than forty million forints from Gábor Horn's father-in-law Horn, the mayor of Erzsébetváros.

The editors of Nemzet received a mysterious e-mail. drew attention to the website of a lawyer from Erzsébetváros, who also kept his incognito, based on the address The Facebook page running under the name "Budapest Prókátor" reminds us of the financial entanglements of Gyurcsány's party Péter Niedermüller and his son-in-law.

"Do you think it's okay that closely related , received orders worth more than HUF 40 million from the Erzsébetváros Municipality under the leadership of Péter Niedermüller?" - they ask the question on the page .

The newspaper investigated and first found a 2020 Weber und Mill contract worth HUF 6,667,500 from the VII. on the district's website, and then a 2023 order worth HUF 14,478,000. So, we are talking about orders worth more than HUF 21 million in total.  

At the same time, the unknown procurator wrote about orders worth more than forty million, and Adataradar also mentioned a 2021 order, which the VII. They were not found in the Glass pocket section of the district's website.

In the meantime, however, the editors were contacted by a source who requested to remain anonymous, who sent the documentation of all the commissions of Weber und Mill in Erzsébetsváros. The mentioned company was managed by Péter Hann between 2011 and 2019, who is the managing director of the Republikon Institute, which is connected to Gábor Horn.

Horn's father-in-law, Péter Niedermüller, signed commission contracts with Weber und Mill Kft. worth more than forty million forints in the last cycle. 

The achievements were signed by Miklós Merényi, Péter Niedermüller's chief of staff, Ferenc Gyurcsány's former ambassador to Rome. Between 1993 and 1997, Merényi was a member of the supervisory board in the Gyurcsány family company, Altus Rt.

In the case, if proven, the criminal suspicion of budget fraud may arise

István Tényi pointed out.

If necessary, the whistleblower requests the initiation of an investigation, the search for the possible perpetrator, and the determination of the suspicion of the crime.
