Dorko already sells more than 700,000 pairs of shoes every year.

In recent times, a commitment to Hungarian products can be observed in Hungary, and although the economic situation cannot be called good, customers increasingly trust domestic products and often prefer them to other brands, said Édl Román, the managing director of Dorko (DRK) at the event, where the newly developed running shoes of the Hungarian brand, the Runique, were presented. Román Édl explained interest of Világgazdaság

they try to measure their prices to the needs of Hungarian customers, adjust them to domestic price points, and despite inflation and increased expenses, they do not raise them drastically.

Most of the company's purchases can be measured in US dollars, therefore

with the increase in quantity, the factories try to negotiate purchase prices, as a result of which they do not have to charge the difference to the customers.

During the negotiations, the fact that Dorko is doing very well can help a lot: they sell more than 700,000 pairs of shoes every year - and next year they want a million - and one and a half million DRK products, which

represents an increase of approximately 20 percent over the past two years.

This is even more spectacular if we take into account that, based on the data of the Central Statistical Office, shoe and textile sales fell by 19.9 percent in general last year.
