The prime minister also sent a message to the Transcarpathian Hungarians.
The motto of this year's peace march: Let Hungary remain an island of peace!
The organizer Civil Solidarity Forum invited people to Margitsziget because, in their opinion, European leaders are burning with war fever, so it is necessary to stand for peace. Saturday's march is already the tenth Peace March, the last one was two years ago on March 15, where the Prime Minister also gave a speech.
The Prime Minister was brought on stage a few minutes before half past four. Viktor Orbán began by asking God's blessing on the Transcarpathian Hungarians, who have been waiting for the end of the war in the shadow of the war for two years, deprived of their rights.
We are with you"
- said the Prime Minister, then continued by saying that the day when their fate will turn for the better is not far off.
Viktor Orbán sent a message to his Slovakian colleague, who is recovering from an assassination attempt. According to the prime minister, Robert Fico was shot because he was on the side of peace, but he will return.
We'll be back Robert, get well soon!"
- announced the Prime Minister.
After that, Viktor Orbán talked about how the last Peace March was two years ago and "it's good to see each other again" . He added, "We have never gathered in such a large crowd before a European election" , and then stated that two years ago, during the parliamentary elections, the right won its biggest victory and the left's teams suffered the biggest defeat.
They roared like a lion, then it turned out they were paper tigers"
- added the prime minister, who said that the victory at the time raised the price of Hungary's shares on the political stock exchanges of all European capitals, but "even though they want to buy it, it is not for sale, neither to Brussels, nor to Washington, nor to George Soros". According to Viktor Orbán, people who stand for peace should be sent to Brussels, and the EP elections should be won by
"the people of Brussels should open the gates of the city and leave their offices in a hurry".
He continued by saying that they have won all the elections since 2006, they are the best at campaigning and they have the largest electoral army, the Prime Minister noted that there have never been so many people for peace, ours is the largest peace corps and peacekeeping force in Europe.
Every slap goes to the right place
Viktor Orbán said that next week they will set a world record for mobilization, the right-wing is on the verge of a huge victory, everything is in their favor, strength, ingenuity, perseverance, a good cause and the state and abilities of their opponents.
We have orderliness and strength, while on the other side there is violence and jostling sycophants. They don't want to defeat the war, they want to defeat each other, there every slap goes to the right place"
- said Viktor Orbán, who, quoting the legendary words of István B. Hajdú, continued: "We are in a huge scoring position, door-window, you can poke it, poke it, poke it". As he stated, as simple as it is, it is so easy to make a mistake, in the campaign the routine poisons and kills, the winning election requires passion, because there is no victory on paper.
Passion is the fuel of the right, and our common passion is Hungary"
- added the prime minister, who, however, warned: routine kills in the campaign. The comfortable person wants to cheer from the couch and not strain to win. According to him, "passion is needed" for a winning election, "there is no such thing as a paper victory".
Europe is preparing for war
After that, Viktor Orbán said: Europe is preparing for war, they announce "the handing over of one section of the road leading there" every day. The Prime Minister noted:
the pro-war train has no brakes and the driver seems to have gone mad.
The prime minister declared that he knows how to stay out of fatal things: he disconnected the Hungarians' car from the pro-migration train, he saved the children from the clutches of LGBTQ organizations. Viktor Orbán added: "stop gender!" Regarding the war, quoting the lyrics of one of Tankcsapda's hits, he added: "for those who want to go to hell, the second door is on the left."
Pro-war supporters should not be convinced, but defeated
Viktor Orbán stated: the strength of the pro-peace forces is necessary, every vote for Fidesz-KDNP is worth two, because according to his words, this will strengthen Hungary, which is out of the war. "We can only stay out of the war if the Hungarian voters strengthen the government," he added.
Hungary can only stay out of the war if we have the biggest electoral victory in Europe"
- said Viktor Orbán, who says that if the left wins, it's only a matter of time before the war catches up with us. The prime minister said that the war supporters have lost their sanity because they are ready to clash with the whole east because they think they can win.
Those who are in favor of war must not be convinced, but defeated"
he stated.
Viktor Orbán declared: Europe cannot endure another war, and Hungary will not enter the war. As he noted: "before the First World War, Europe was the master of the world, while the Second World War after the Second World War, he was no longer his own master" . He said: After another war, Europe will no longer be part of the world's rhythmic orchestra, our country cannot gain anything from the war, but it can lose everything.
"We lost one and a half million lives in the two world wars. What a strong country we would have if we had them now. And now they want us to participate in another war.
We will not go to war to be understood in Brussels, so I say it quietly. We have nothing to gain on the Russian front
- stated Viktor Orbán, and then stated that he says no to the war plan, which was developed in the interests of the great powers in Ukraine. According to his words, György Soros wrote his subversive book 30 years ago, according to which Russia can be defeated with Western technology and Eastern manpower.
And the Hungarian left is financed by this György Soros, the Hungarian left betrays its own pro-peace voters for the sake of war"
he declared.
