Zsolt Semjén, the president of the KDNP, and György Hölvényi, a representative of the European Parliament of the KDNP, communicated all this to Manfred Weber, the president of the European People's Party.

If Péter Magyar is admitted to the faction of the European People's Party (EPP) or his party to the EPP, then the KDNP will be forced to leave the European People's Party, Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén announced on Friday in Budapest.

The president of the KDNP and György Hölvényi, the member of the European Parliament of the KDNP, held talks with Manfred Weber, the president of the European People's Party, in the Carmelite monastery, and afterwards he told the members of the press: they had a very honest and fair conversation, during which many issues were touched upon.

They made it clear: Péter Magyar's personality is unacceptable for the KDNP, they cannot accept his admission into the faction, and the Tisza Party into the European People's Party.

Zsolt Semjén emphasized: the KDNP has an eighty-year history, the Tisza Party has an eighty-day history.
