The most important topic of the discussion is the possibility of creating peace.

Viktor Orbán, the prime minister of Hungary holding the consecutive presidency of the European Council, arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday morning, where he will hold talks with Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, Bertalan Havasi, the prime minister's press chief from the Ukrainian capital, informed.

The most important topic of the discussion is the possibility of creating peace. Viktor Orbán and Volodymyr Zelenskyi will also discuss current issues of Hungarian-Ukrainian bilateral relations, the press chief announced.

"Congratulations to Hungary on taking over the presidency of the EU" - this is how Volodymyr Zelenskij began his post published on his social media page. As he put it, the Ukrainian head of state wished the Hungarian EU presidency efficiency in "promoting our common European values, goals and interests".

Zelenskyy added: "As it moves forward on its path to the EU, Ukraine is ready to contribute to these efforts and strengthen Europe."
