The Prime Minister's peace mission has overwhelming support.
62 percent of Hungarian adults are satisfied with Viktor Orbán's peace mission involving Ukraine, Russia and China, according to the Hungarian Social Researcher's survey, which also points out that even a third of opposition voters support Viktor Orbán's peace efforts.
It is known that Viktor Orbán visited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, then Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping shortly after assuming the post of President of the European Union, in order to help end the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The Hungarian Social Researcher was interested in the domestic perception of the peace mission, and the survey revealed that
more than three-fifths (62 percent) of the respondents representing the adult Hungarian population are satisfied with Viktor Orbán's efforts for a ceasefire and peace, and 41 percent of the respondents are also completely satisfied with him.
Just over a quarter of Hungarians are dissatisfied only with the peace mission. Since the proportion of satisfied people is more than double that of dissatisfied people, the domestic perception of the first week of the peace mission can be said to be particularly favorable.
More than three-fifths of respondents are satisfied with Viktor Orbán's efforts for a ceasefire and peace.
The research also established that the peace mission gained supporters even on the opposition side, since
29 percent of the voters of the Tisza Party, a third of the DK-MSZP-Párbeszéd voters running in an alliance in the European Parliament elections, about 33 percent,
a third of the voters of smaller parties that currently have no chance of entering parliament are also satisfied with Viktor Orbán's trips between July 2 and 8.
