The animal rights activists managed to save 81 dogs.

Eighty-one dogs and two sheep escaped, but twenty-one dog carcasses were found in the freezer. The animals were rescued from the house of a foreign breeder who tortured animals - the Fans for Animals Foundation wrote on its social media page, which was published by Zaol

The post reveals:

with several animal protection organizations, clerks, government offices, official veterinarians, the police, and later with crime scene investigators, the work was completed early that evening, and the property was evacuated. The foreign woman kept the dogs in the house in Zalakoppány under terrible conditions.

Animal cruelty surprised even well-known animal rights activists. As they write, with the exception of 12 dogs, the others never(!) left their cages or the house. These animals were out in the air for the first time when they were rescued, saw the sun for the first time, felt the wind, and met people (other than their owner) for the first time.

All the dogs are emaciated, sick and full of fleas. A true inbred.

The following organizations participated in the rescue: Together for a Life, for Innocent Animals Association, Bogáncs Zalaegerszeg Animal Protection Association, Elisabeth shelter, Aprajafalva Yorki Rescue, István Fekete Animal Protection Association - Szombathely, Uzzkár Fajtamentés - Nagyatád, Jeromos Association, Noé Animal Shelter Foundation, Mentsvár for Animals Foundation, Siófoki Animal Protection Foundation, Ebremény Dog Protection Association, Szimat Animal Protection Association, Fans for Animals Foundation, as well as the Zalakoppány office and the Zala County Government Office.

The rescued animals were sent to shelters and animal protection organizations. The Szimat Animal Protection Association in Zalaszentgrót wrote about the rescue in its post:

It was a horrible and at the same time wonderful day, 08/08/2024. After many years, we finally managed to get in and save 81 innocent lives! Thank you to everyone who helped us in the rescue and reception! Huge dude!

With this large-scale action, the already overcrowded shelters in Zala have been filled, they would need adopters and, of course, help:

• for puppy and adult dry food,

• canned food,

• roborizing agents

• for tick and flea remedies

• for cleaning products.

And to contribute to the vet costs, which are sure to be very high with so many.
