The European Commission has already responded to the matter.

The Scandinavians and the Baltic states are not satisfied that the Hungarian government has simplified the issuance of work visas for Russian and Belarusian citizens, but they are not bothered by the fact that, for example, 300,000 Russians work in Germany.

In addition to Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania also wrote a letter to the European Commission in which they criticized Hungary's activities and expect the organization to take decisive action against the Budapest decision, Die Welt reports.

The problem for the eight countries is that the Hungarian government has simplified the issuance of work visas for Russian and Belarusian citizens.

67 members of the European Parliament previously demanded that Ursula von der Leyen investigate Hungary's Schengen membership, which even Donald Tusk thinks would be an exaggeration.

The Hungarian government previously stated that the simplified entry of foreign nationals is permitted only for the purpose of employment within the framework of a strictly regulated procedure, and in fact Brussels has allowed millions of migrants to enter the European Union unchecked, while refusing to contribute to the costs of Hungarian border protection.

Gergely Gulyás, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office, pointed out in the latest Government Information that only 6,000 Russian workers were registered in Hungary, while 300,000 in Germany, meaning that the objections to the program are purely political in nature.
