Swimmer Zsófia Konkoly won a gold medal in the 200-meter medley of the S9 injury category at the Paris Paralympics on Thursday.

The 22-year-old competitor from Pécs - who also won the 400 sprint in Paris a week ago - made it to the evening final with the best time from the morning preliminaries, in which she fought a big battle with the Spanish Nuria Marques Soto, who was third behind her in Tokyo, but in the end she was the fastest by 88 hundredths.
Zsófia Konkoly won the sixth Paralympic medal of her career, so far she has 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. In Paris, he won the seventh Hungarian medal and the third gold after the first.
