Éva Jászai Pap, a Mari award-winning actress, has died at the age of 84. The news of the artist's death was not made public at the request of her family, even though the tragic event took place on July 23. Now the Madách Theater has published a post about the sad news.

At the age of 18, in 1957, Éva Pap began studying at the Theater and Film Academy, where she graduated in 1961. After that, he moved to the National Theater in Szeged, and soon to the National Theater in Budapest. In 1966, he transferred to the Vígszínház. In 1982, he became an artist of the Szeged National Theater again, and the following year he signed a contract with the Sándor Theater of Hevesi in Zalaegerszeg. After two years, from 1985 he played at the József Katona Theater in Kecskemét, and from 1987 he became a member of the Móricz Zsigmond Theater in Nyíregyháza. Between 1994 and 2003, he belonged to the company of the Madách Theater.

She played her most significant role in László Németh's drama Széchenyi, in which she played Crescenita, but she appeared in many works.
