Petra Luterán won a silver medal in the long jump of the T47 category on Friday at the Paris Paralympics.

The athlete from Tatabánya, fourth in the 400 meters, was a bronze medalist in this event at the World Championships this year, and he also performed excellently in the recent finals, improving his personal best twice, finally finishing second with 5.85 meters.

The number was won by Kiara Rodriguez from Ecuador, the defending World Cup champion, with 6.05 meters. This is the Hungarian delegation's ninth medal in Paris, the third silver after three golds and three bronzes.
