Residents in southern Sweden's Kalmar county who refused to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine at their scheduled vaccination time due to fears of possible side effects say they will have to pay SEK 200 in compensation. It's lucky that it didn't happen to us.

the SVT report, a couple who refused the vaccination at the beginning of the month received a letter in which they were billed for the costs. They have since filed a complaint with the Swedish Judicial Ombudsman.

One person involved reported that he and his partner put themselves at risk of infection by going to the health facility, but they would not have shown up if they had known which vaccine they were being offered.

If I go to buy pork, but I only get the banana offered, I don't have to pay for the product, because that's not what I went there to buy - that is, I never bought it," said one person involved, claiming that the country deliberately withheld information about what kind of vaccine is given that day.
