A young girl accuses three men of raping her at the AUR summer political camp in the Romanian seaside resort of Neptun.
The incident happened last year, the woman filed a report with the police even then, and a forensic medical examination was conducted, which confirmed the victim's accusations.
The DNA of the three men was found on the underwear of the girl, who was still a minor at the time, and it was also established that they had forced intercourse with her immediately before the investigation.
Despite this, the investigation of the case stalled, the investigation did not reach the point where the three men were suspected, they were only questioned as witnesses, and of course they deny everything, they are talking about political discredit.
The incident happened last September, when the girl was still a minor, only 17 years old. The famous Hungarian-hating Association for the Unification of Romanians (AUR) organized a political summer school at the Neptun-Olimp resort on the Black Sea coast, where the girl was also invited. From the morning of September 14 to 15, however
three men between the ages of 31 and 35 raped her in the hotel room of one of them, taking advantage of the fact that during the evening they drank so much alcohol that she was almost unconscious.
After the violence, the girl left the camp on September 16 and filed a complaint with the police, where criminal proceedings were initiated. The victim also named the three perpetrators: Georgian Negara, Valentin Ghinea and Alexandru Mihai Ene, all members and activists of AUR Ialomița County.
According to the girl, the hotel's surveillance cameras also recorded Georgian Negara dragging the apparently heavily intoxicated minor to her room, who left the hotel room confused after about 35 minutes, and is seen looking for her phone to call her mother to tell her. , what happened.

The three alleged perpetrators deny everything, they say they cannot know what happened to the girl and why she left the camp after two days.
The Romanian press in Bucharest tried to reach them and make them speak, but they could not get in touch with them, even though all three were members of the AUR Ialomița county party organization and even candidates.
The AUR's communications department, under pressure from the press, previously stated that they support the authorities in order to accurately investigate the circumstances and, if the allegations are proven, they agree to bring the perpetrators to justice.
However, the authorities were not on top of the situation either: the three named men were not questioned as witnesses until December 2023, following the complaint on September 16. By the way, the Slobozia prosecutor's office started investigating the case, but later the investigation was taken over by the Budapest prosecutor's office, which did not respond to Digi24's question about where the case is and whether the suspected perpetrators have already been suspected.
The investigation is not progressing despite the fact that the forensic medical examinations carried out after the violence confirmed what the girl said.
The medical report states that the DNA (sperm) of all three named men was found on the girl's underwear, and the medical experts stated that "she was deprived of her virginity within 1-3 days" and that she "suffered anal injuries" and that she also had external injury marks on her legs. were discovered.
"It is important to encourage the other victims that such cases are handled quickly, professionally and with the protection of the victim of sexual violence," said Andreea Braga, an expert from the Filia organization fighting for women's rights, who, however, emphasized that in Romanian society "there are still many prejudices lives against victims of sexual violence".
To Digi24, the victim, who has just turned 18, claims that nothing happened in the case, although she had the courage to file a complaint immediately after the incident.
The pain is caused not only by the rape I suffered, but also by the betrayal of the system that was supposed to protect me, he said.
