Hungary is ready to provide all assistance to Ukraine with the means at its disposal, said the parliamentary state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Lemberg, western Ukraine, during a meeting with the city's mayor on Tuesday.

Levente Magyar said that Hungary is ready to receive and care for a large number of injured Ukrainian children and wounded soldiers, as well as continuing the scholarship program under which it can accept thousands of Ukrainian higher education students who had to leave their homeland or had to interrupt their studies.

The state secretary highlighted that Hungary is ready to expand the humanitarian aid program in even more aspects, the Ecumenical Aid Organization already has an office in Lemberg.

The mayor of Lemberg, Andrij Szadovij, thanked Hungary for its support and indicated that they are ready to cooperate with the Western Ukraine office of the Ecumenical Aid Organization.

The state secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also met with Makszim Kozickij, the military governor of the county, whom he informed about the opportunities offered by Hungary. The governor expressed his gratitude to Hungary for accepting one million Ukrainian refugees.
