In a recent post, Fidesz Budapest drew attention to the left-wing abuses of the past period, based on which the city's leadership can hardly be called democratic, read the Magyar Hírlap.

"If anyone expected that the left would bring freedom and democracy to Budapest, they had to be seriously disappointed in recent years. More and more cases are coming to the surface that remind us of the classic socialist times," emphasized the Budapest faction of the ruling parties in a recent post.

In this regard, they highlighted: "V. About Márta Naszályi, the dialogic mayor of the 1st district, the former artistic director of the municipal cultural company claims that he approaches the cultural life of the district with the motto "I give you the money, you do what I say". Manual control, censorship, no news or ashes of the dialogue."

The capital faction drew attention to similar abuses in the IX. also in relation to the district, since Krisztina Baranyi, the independent mayor of the district, looks like she is unable to become independent from the DK. "After the editor-in-chief, who was elected on a professional basis, was fired, the left-wing representative body would definitely put Olga Kálmán's husband at the head of the district media company, and a cadre of district company managers also arranged behind Baranyi's back that the DK's Borka -Tamás Szász, who is the VII. district municipality fell into bitcoin mining."
