Dear Managing Director!

We learned from the comments received by our intellectual patriots that SPAR Magyarország Kft. he asked and received from the representatives of the European Parliament the opportunity to address his complaints about the special tax and price cap on Hungarian food, excluding the public.

We consider it unusual and questionable that some representatives of the European Parliament were able to provide assistance at a non-public hearing, where SPAR Magyarország Kft. could possibly hand over confidential business data. We assume that the company sought political supporters for its own sake in order to make the decision of the European Court favorable to it, taking into account the price cap and the excise tax on food.

At the same time, it became certain that some multinational food trading companies set unreasonably high prices for several of their products, bypassing the price cap, for the sake of their profits.

CÖF-CÖKA stands up for the interests of the civilian population.

SPAR has been able to count on significant profits during its operation in Hungary for more than 30 years. We would like to note that, according to our information, SPAR has made efforts to get other multinational food trading companies behind it.

He probably did not receive full authorization from them for his organization, so he only requested the exclusion of the public for himself in the European Parliament.

At the press conference, CÖF-CÖKA announced and made public that it is waiting for an answer from SPAR Magyarország Kft as to why it wanted to realize its political interests by backstabbing the measures of the Hungarian customers and the Hungarian government.
