Date: December 5 (Thursday) 5 p.m.
Place: House of Science and Technology (Miskolc, 5. Görgey A. u.)
"We evaluate the year again with Zoltán Kiszelly, director of the Center for Political Analysis of Századvég, honorary member of the CÖF Club Miskolc.
Today, the current demented president of the USA and his circle of advisers are working to make the possibility of peace impossible by expanding the war. Unfortunately, the EU's "nonsense automatons" or the reigning top leaders continue to fuel the fire of the war, hoping to create unlimited support for Ukraine.
As a result, the situation on planet Earth remains explosive. In the shadow of war, it is difficult to judge where the world is going. Is peace close or will President-elect Trump be forced into continuing the war. Today, there are nearly 30 wars going on in the world, most of which have the USA playing the leading role, participating in many of them, in order to guarantee peace, they say cynically. An armed conflict is taking place in Ukraine, in which Russia is unquestionably the aggressor, but the USA is the instigator. The United States of America, by blackmailing its allies politically and economically, continues to have the strategic goal of bringing one of the largest nuclear powers, Russia, to its knees, hiding behind NATO's efforts. Meanwhile, the European Union is constantly losing its competitiveness and influence.
In the shadow of the war, the great powers are postponing the global strategic decisions that are supposed to solve the recovery of the world economy from the energy crisis, the economic effects of demographic (migration) and climate change, and the temporary information communication disruptions that occur with the depletion of mineral resources. Analyzing these global challenges, Zoltán Kiszelly, Honorary Member of the CÖF Club Miskolc, tries to outline a vision of the future in his typical "well-informed optimistic expert" style.
All interested parties are warmly welcome on December 5, 2024 (Thursday) from 4:30 p.m. at the House of Science and Technology. Questions/opinions can be submitted in advance during registration or sent in an e-mail reply. You can ask orally in no more than 2 minutes." - says CÖF Klub Miskolc in its invitation.
