One day after Azbej Tristan, the state secretary responsible for the implementation of the Hungary Helps program in Mosul, confirmed the invitation to the Holy Father in Budapest, Pope Francis officially announced his participation in the International Eucharistic Congress.
In the statement announcing the Pope's visit, Péter Erdő said: "We trust that his visit will be a great encouragement and spiritual confirmation for all of us and for the future participants of the Eucharistic Congress."
