The Jászok Association has two holidays this year, but one of them falls on today.

According to the story, the Association of Jászók was founded in Budapest in 1921, after the people of Jászág who came from their homeland were always looking for the opportunity to keep in touch with each other and with those living at home. The organization was disbanded in 1946, and on March 19, 1991, the Jászok Association was re-established in Budapest. The 36 participants of the inaugural meeting said: they want to create an organization that creates an institutional connection between the people living at home and the diaspora.
