Over the past weekend, more than a thousand people were hospitalized, 11,276 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 1,340 are on ventilators.
The vaccination program is running smoothly and according to schedule, the vaccination rate of the Hungarian population reached 16%, compared to the EU average of 9%. Due to their vulnerability, the registered elderly are still in the queue for vaccination. Another shipment of Szputnyik vaccine arrived on Sunday evening, so vaccination can begin after the necessary official tests.
