The government not only cooperates with the mayors of cities led by the opposition, but also makes significant gestures on a win-win (win-win) basis, as Minister Judit Varga is doing now. The leader from Miskolc asked the mayor to be a university curator. In Facebook's statement, it says:
"One of the keys to the success of the University of Miskolc is that the institution and the city maintain a close relationship. That is why I would like to invite Pál Veres, the mayor of Miskolc , to fill the vacant position on the board of trustees.
As you know, with the death of Ákos Kriza, the former mayor of Miskolc in January, we lost not only a politician who always wanted to do for his city, but also a member of the board of trustees of the University of Miskolc. I believe that the good cooperation between the university and the city will become a symbiosis from which both the residents of Miskolc and the university citizens will benefit, and which will be a guarantee for the development of the entire region.
We, the people of Borsod, are all interested in this!"
