The decree on the reopening of educational institutions has already been published in the Magyar Közlöny.

According to the government decree published in the latest issue of Magyar Közlöny, schools will reopen on April 19. Gergely Gulyás, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office, already spoke at an extraordinary press conference on Friday that this will be the case according to the current plans. If the teachers are vaccinated by then, kindergartens, elementary schools, and high schools will also open.

The relevant government decree was published in the Magyar Közlöny on March 27, with which the decision that was only mentioned yesterday as a plan was set in stone.

According to the text of the decree:

Public education institutions (with the exception of kindergartens) and vocational training institutions operate as usual. The extraordinary break in kindergartens ordered on March 8, 2021 will be canceled. In relation to the operation of public education and vocational training institutions, the minister responsible for public education and vocational training provides in a decision on the implementation of government measures.
