The Hungarian village business restart program will start soon, in the spring, the main purpose of which is to stimulate investments, announced the State Secretary responsible for economic strategy and regulation of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.

László György announced that HUF 25 billion will be available in the first round for companies employing less than ten people. A company can receive HUF 2-10 million, the source can be combined with the 10 million restart quick loan, he added.

The essence of the program was summarized by the state secretary in the way that small businesses operating in small settlements apply for small grants. These benefits are an opportunity for companies to level up, he noted.

The intensity of the support is a maximum of 70 percent, i.e. the state undertakes a maximum of 70 per HUF 100 of the cost of the investment.

The funds can be used for many things, including wages, machines, workshops, information technology developments and training.

Due to European Union requirements, you must have at least one closed business year.

The details will be uploaded to palyazat.gov.hu

László György emphasized that not only every life, but also every business matters.

Alpár Gyopáros , the government commissioner responsible for the development of modern settlements, emphasized that the new application opportunity opens in accordance with the Hungarian village program. He recalled: the program - for which the government has spent HUF 600 billion so far - is already in its third year. They strive to improve the quality of life of all villagers, he said.

The program rests on several pillars. This includes the village family home building discount (csok), which has already been used by almost 20,000 families, worth HUF 100 billion. 2,500 kilometers of lower-order state roads have been renovated or are being renovated. Tenders are continuously issued to municipalities, parishes, civil organizations, 12,000 winners were announced in two years, and developments worth HUF 130 billion were launched; they renovated almost 3,000 village buildings and institutions - for example service apartments, kindergartens, schools - to house doctors and teachers. This year's novelty is that they also want to save the convenience stores, they want to reopen them - listed Alpár Gyopáros.

The government commissioner noted that until now the Hungarian village program has operated exclusively from budget sources. Although efforts have been made to attract European Union funds, this will only become a reality now. At least 2-3 thousand companies will be supported in the Hungarian village business restart program, but it could even be 5-6 thousand, he said.
