The next Civil Academy, Arm in Arms, will be held on October 4, 2021, from 5:30 p.m. at the Citizens' House (1089 Visi Imre utca 6.). The invited guest of the evening will be: András Bencsik, editor-in-chief of Demokrata.

In October, we can once again march through the main streets of Budapest in a Peace Procession, arm in arm, as our predecessors did in the fall of 1956. On the 50th anniversary of the revolution, led by Gyurcsány, the streets of Pest were covered in blood and tear gas, when the police, who did not have identification, rounded up the participants in the commemoration and those who were passing by. One word is like a hundred, we once again have a reason to show our peaceful strength. We have been waiting for this calling word for a long time! Gyurcsány and his coalition deserved our mass protest. Seneca, the ancient Roman politician, statesman and writer, certainly knew well the human soul, the good and bad control within us. If it wasn't like that, I wonder how he would have been able to describe the essence of forgiveness so precisely. I haven't read anything better or more expressive since then. "Forgiveness is the letting go of a deserved sin." Gyurcsány and his colleagues could have used the sincere apology and at the same time retired from politics. They didn't do this or that. Let us quickly add - seeing our hostile opposition - we refer Seneca's definition to the jurisdiction of the Good God.
