What the management of the Hertha football team did with the Hungarian goalkeeper coach Zsolt Petry is hypocritical, lying, vile and unacceptable in democracies (even in real ones). But also what Deutsche Welle lied about the case.

My organ, which regularly slanders Hungary with incredible dishonesty, gave its article on the case a title that does not contain even a trace of the truth. "Hertha Berlin sacked goalkeeper coach for his homophobic and anti-immigrant comments," reads the headline, and the German dirty press is not bothered at all that Petry did not do so. This is what he said (quote from the interview published in Magyar Nemzet):

" The majority of Hungarian society does not agree with Péter Gulácsi's That is why many people began to criticize him, even though the expression of opinion is morally indefensible . Péter did nothing but stand up for his principles. In principle, he cannot and should not be condemned just because he expressed his opinion. Whether people agree with his point of view or not is another matter. As an athlete, I would concentrate on football in his place, and I would not formulate any position on public and socio-political issues. (…) What could have prompted Péter to stand up for homosexuals, transvestites and people with other gender identities, I don't know. I'm sure I wouldn't have stirred up tempers in his place. "

Of course, the Deutsche Welle journalist does not need to know Hungarian (although if he had searched, he would surely have found someone who would translate the original text for him on Saturday), but as V4NA writes, the interview was also published in English. According to them, he can't. And he can also be at war with the German language, as Hertha BSC CEO Carsten Schmid stated in the article that Petry "never behaved in a homophobic or xenophobic manner".

But if not, how come?

Thousands of Hungarian football fans watch the matches of Hertha BSC. not least because Hungarian professionals are working (again) for the success of the German team fighting against relegation. addition to coach Pál Dárdai Zsolt Petry in this . But it seems that profession is not enough for Hertha, they enthusiastically demand both footballers and coaching staff. As slaves, whose masters can also dictate what they are allowed to think about. This is typical of the darkest dictatorships.

And Deutsche Welle's writing evokes the former vile methods of the Free People.

By the way, Hertha's procedure caused a huge indignation both in Hungary and in Germany, because the Hungarian goalkeeper coach Zsolt Petry was fired because of his political opinion. We found hundreds of opinions the club's Facebook page There were also a good number of Hungarians, but this time we left them out.

Among the first was a certain Oliver Gras , who wrote: "It must be a huge loss, but I think it's absolutely the right move. No one can afford that. Fortunately, there is no “celebrity bonus.” Many other employers probably would have behaved the same way (with Petry, that is).

There were a lot of reactions to this and more.

- That's true. What do you allow yourself here in Germany to talk about the refugee problem!!!

– I am still interested in how one protected minority (Muslims) tolerates another (LMBTQUSW) . It will be funny

" Why shouldn't anyone be allowed to speak their mind??? Where do you live Oliver Gras??

"Everyone is free to express an opinion!" Every day, many Germans look away at the racist insults of refugees, out of sympathy .... and you can't have your say?

"Oliver Gras!" Do you want to ban civilian courage?

- Wow, a very poor performance from Hertha. Petry's statement is certainly worth debating, but it does not justify the dismissal. Employees should be allowed to speak their mind without fear of being fired.

This is what happens when you dare to say what many more people are thinking. Damn sad.

"You ...heads!!! A top coach is "grilled" for ideological reasons! . That's almost reason enough to cancel my membership!

- It seems that Hertha does not want freedom of expression.

– Freedom of expression? Tolerance? Respect? How did the last two dictatorships go? Just like this!

"What happened to our society?" Shouldn't anyone have their own opinion anymore? Is your own opinion really discrimination? We know what happened the last time the majority blindly followed someone. Nobody wants that anymore!

– Cancel Culture just happened with Hertha. Thank you very much, it's no wonder that the club is only number 2 in Berlin, because apparently politics is more important than daily business.

"An embarrassing act by our responsible people." We are slowly in the minority and some of us here no longer have freedom of expression. As one politician summed it up: Germany is erasing itself and that's exactly how it is. Shame on you, Hertha BSC

The players will kneel again this weekend. I hope they don't get hurt…

– Football has deteriorated so much and Hertha BSC is diligently involved.. I canceled my membership after many years!!

– The man (that is, Petry) is absolutely right in what he said. This is no longer democracy and freedom of expression in this country!

We live in conditions like the Nazi era, when you can no longer say what you want!!!

On the contrary, according to one of the left-wing Hungarian news portals, Petry's firing was a "value-based HR decision"...

Yes, these are them, for them freedom of speech only extends to their own opinions, and it is better not to talk about their values...
