At the end of last year, the Ministry of Transport in Bratislava published, and then the government accepted, Slovakia's road construction plan, ranking the road sections to be built in order of urgency and importance.

Strangely enough, the points that determine construction priority do not meet exactly where more Hungarians live. From Gelle to Losonc and from Losonc to Kassa, only small and unrelated sections would be renovated, not to mention that the Górzkő tunnel is not included in the government program.

The road bypassing Komárom was also ranked back to 83rd place, the bypass of Vágsellye and Érsekújvár, as well as the roundabout in Izsa, are not on the list either, even though the residents of the area, including many Hungarians, would greatly need them
.

All this was written by István Farkas, the professional vice-president of MKP, to the Felvidek.ma website, adding that from the point of view of transport infrastructure development, the area south of the Bratislava-Nyitra-Kassa line does not seem to exist. Because the road section in the 30th line of the list will also start to be built in 10 years, and the rest much later. However, in Southern Slovakia, which is inhabited by Hungarians in greater numbers, entire economic sectors have already been eliminated, no industry has been installed in the space created by it, you have to look for industrial parks with a magnifying glass (in contrast to the northern and central regions).

Let's not even talk about the environmentally friendly southern railways and waterways (Danube ports), as they are in an even more deplorable state, says the author. How long can this be? - asks the author - and he answers it: "No matter how we look at it, as long as there is no Hungarian party in the legislature (even more so in the government), we will fail one by one our future opportunities, the development of our regions, our homeland, and with it our future."
