245 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 8,053 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu ​​reported on Saturday, highlighting that 2,760,938 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 1,171,475 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.

It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 713,868. The number of those who died rose to 23,211, and those who recovered rose to 423,366. The number of active infected people increased to 267,291. 10,921 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 1,344 are on ventilators. There are 47,041 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples has increased to 4,897,922.

It was announced: after the number of vaccinated people exceeded 2.5 million on Tuesday, the gradual lifting of the restrictions could begin from Wednesday: the curfew is in effect between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. You can only be exempted from this with certified work.

The shops can be open between 5 in the morning and 10:30 in the evening, and on average one customer can be in the shops for every ten square meters. Hairdressers, beauticians and other service providers may also be open. At the same time, the catering premises cannot open in normal operation, only the employees can stay in these units. Guests are only allowed to enter the restaurants for the time required to issue and deliver the food.

After the vaccination of the teachers, primary schools and kindergartens will start again on April 19. For the safest possible conduct of graduation exams, 9-12. attendance classes will only resume on May 10. As a general rule, the graduation exam is only held in writing.

The protection measures currently in force against the epidemic are still in effect - with an extended effect until April 19. Among the most important measures, it was mentioned that the wearing of a mask is mandatory on all streets and public areas within a residential area and that a distance of at least 1.5 meters from other people should be kept if possible. Hotels and fitness centers are still not allowed to receive guests, but leisure sports activities can still be continued during the period outside the curfew.

Until April 19, the border control and border guard tasks temporarily introduced for all internal Schengen border sections of Hungary will remain in effect. The police strictly check compliance with the rules, can impose fines, and close down places that do not follow the rules. The soldiers support the work of the police in several cities of the country and relieve the health workers in the hospital.

It was announced that the out-of-order vaccination of nursery, kindergarten and school workers will continue at hospital vaccination points. General practitioners can also continue sending registered patients to hospital vaccination points, where they can now vaccinate with Pfizer and Szputnyik V vaccines.
