We can travel to another dimension of lies with Péter Jakab Jobbikos (Ballikos) party chairman. After on your Facebook profile :
"I recently sent a letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. I asked the President that the European Union does not give the thieving Hungarian government another aid package, this time of 40 million euros, to deal with the crisis, because the Hungarians in trouble will not benefit from it, but only the Orbán family. I suggested that the Hungarian workers receive the money directly. Yesterday I received the President's reply, in which she assured me that she is familiar with the Hungarian situation, and that the Union will check how the government uses the new support."
Ursula von der Leyen's original letter next to his own slip-ups In it, the President of the European Commission does not state in a single word that he would investigate the Hungarian government's spending separately, he only writes in general terms, referring to all member states, that according to the regulation, the Commission can propose measures to the Council if it is established that the principles of the rule of law in a member state its violation directly affects or seriously threatens the efficient and effective financial management of the EU budget or the protection of the Union's financial interests".
But Jakab is even more rude when he quotes Von der Leyen as follows: "He assured me that he knew Hungarian conditions."
In the attached Hungarian translation of the reply letter (we don't know if Jakab, who has a "C" type English intermediate level language exam, could translate it, or if he could ask for help from Gergely Karácsony, who doesn't speak English at all...) the EC president's sentence reads literally like this:
"I am aware of the serious health situation in Hungary."
Of course, we should have no illusions about what Jakab's goal was with the slips and the correspondence: to promote his own country in Brussels, which the party he led had been spit on for more than 10 years.
In the film indicated in the title, Jakab goes to the countryside with his partner to check fire extinguishers. God protect the house where he checks the fire extinguishers! Maybe in a Rolex watch!
