With a trial sign, you will be able to book an appointment online: 70,000 registered users will be notified of this via SMS.

The government is testing a new appointment booking system on an experimental basis, which will work in four major cities for the time being - announced the national chief medical officer Cecília Müller at the Wednesday briefing of the operative group responsible for the prevention of the coronavirus epidemic.

This will work in university hospitals in Pécs, Szeged, Debrecen and Budapest. The affected persons will be notified by SMS until tonight. Those who receive such a message are asked to enter the appointment booking interface by Thursday evening and choose the time that suits them.

Only those who have already registered for vaccination can enter the system. They will only be able to choose a time from Monday to Wednesday.

If the trial runs are successful, the new system will be introduced at all hospital vaccination points.

According to the government, vaccination is still linked to registration, but they are trying to speed up the vaccination process.
