The "extraordinarily short" Saint George Days took place in the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church on Saturday. Unlike in previous years, the thirtieth city festival did not have a multi-day festival or outdoor fair due to the epidemic. In the church, they greeted the city and its patron saint with a blessing and a concert. At the ceremony, Mayor Árpád Antal presented the Pro Urbe award to Jenő Kiss, the retired director of the Bod Péter County Library in Sepsiszentgyörgy.

The event began with a blessing, György Dávid, parish priest of the Christ the King Church, quoted the story of the knight St. George and said that victory is not enough with spears and swords, but with faith in the living Christ. The parish priest wished the citizens of the city to walk the path of life, consciously seeing and experiencing the good, the holy and the truth.

Árpád Antal officially opened, as he said, "this year's extraordinary short Saint George Days". In his welcome speech, he pointed out that the extraordinary times demand extraordinary standing from all of us, but the patron saint of the city is not alone in his post, there are many people standing by him who constantly watch over, teach, educate, encourage and inspire the community. He added that we would all be poorer without Jenő Kiss' watchful eyes, active life, and community-shaping work as an educator and teacher.

The eulogy of Jenő Kiss was given by Szonda Szabolcs, the director of the Bod Péter County Library, stressing that, in addition to her professional standing, the laureate also took a prominent role in public life, founding, launching, and strengthening institutions, organizations, publications, and professional forums.

After receiving the award, Jenő Kiss said, among other things, that it was an honor for her to be among the city's Pro Urbe award winners.
