Katalin Novák announced at her online press conference: NTP is an initiative that is unique in the world, with which young Hungarian talents are supported from kindergarten to adulthood, both here and beyond the border. They support 350,000 young people every year.

In the information available on her Facebook page, the minister highlighted that 3,700 people have received individual scholarships under the title of Young Talents of the Nation in five years. Among them is a photographer whose shot was published by NASA as the astrophoto of the day, a research doctor who works on modernizing intensive care for premature babies, and an application developer whose application is used by more than 10,000 students.

He indicated: the NTP receives approximately one billion forints from one-percent donations every year, which the government significantly supplements; thanks to this, this year the program can already manage HUF 3.6 billion.

The minister without portfolio responsible for families encouraged everyone to donate one percent of their personal income tax to the National Talent Program (NTP) at the technical number 1823.

International chess grandmaster Judit Polgár is the patron of the National Talent Program's one percent campaign - at the press conference she said, among other things, that in order for talent to reach its goal and be successful, financial support is needed, but also praise and encouragement.
