The government will provide HUF 5.6 billion for the development of the health service center in Ferencváros in the Healthy Budapest Program (EBP), the Minister of Human Resources announced on his social media page.

In his post on Friday, Miklós Kásler announced that according to the relevant government decision, the local government clinic will be renovated and a new wing will be added by 2023.

The new part of the integrated primary care and outpatient specialist care center will be built at 49 Mester utca, while the property at 45 Mester utca will be renovated, he explained.

After the investment is completed, the ten family doctor districts in the area will move to one place, and a 24-hour family doctor service will be available. Modern medical equipment and furniture are being purchased for outpatient care, the minister said.
