Before we publish the anonymous reader's letter that is circulating on the Internet on this topic, let us remind you of the trick that has been played a thousand times, which has always characterized social media. When they committed something stupid, they accused the current opponent of the same thing, so as not to talk about their own crimes.

This no longer works for us, but their own camp still believes it. However, they looted that camp when they privatized 80-85 percent of the country's national wealth. Now here comes the letter:

"I say it slowly so that the opposition, who are (supposedly) very concerned about the public wealth, understand: the left caused HUF 2,853 billion damage to the country before 2010 with the Panamanianization of the M5 and M6 highways. This damage amount was not calculated by a pro-government "propaganda paper", but by an opposition economic paper. HUF 2,853 billion! This is roughly nine times as much as the Orbán government spent on stadiums, artificial turf soccer fields, and related facilities in the last eleven years (330 billion in total).

So that's all about stadiumization and all the other left-wing lies.
"They are stealing!
They steal everything! Everything! The Fidesz! Meszáros and Tiborcz! Tiborcz and Mészáros! And the others! Upslide, stadium, light rail. Theft! Mutt! They wheelbarrowed the whole country home for themselves. Moreover, they also want to rob Europe." We have been listening to this song for eleven years. Again and again, every single day, on every opposition wavelength. And just like that: it is served to all of us at the spiritual level of the little slipper animals. The second Orbán government was not even formed in 2010, they have already started. Because they thought they knew. (The same people who used to complain about the end of democracy, the loss of press, university and academic freedom and the rest at home and abroad - but that's another story.)

I have to admit that I find most of the opposition's speeches and writings on theft to be terribly boring and intellectually vile. For them, the fact that a Hungarian person they do not like (i.e. not from the left) wins a public procurement is considered theft; if a Hungarian company builds a school, bridge, highway, hospital, artificial turf sports field cheaper than a foreign one. In such cases, all they have to do is throw the rubber bone in front of their tamed fans - Mészáros, Tiborcz, Felcsút, etc. - and the Pavlov dogs will already enthusiastically bark: "Theft!"

For them, stealing is basically when "they" don't win. By "them" we mean, on the one hand, all the red barons (starting with Hagyo, Leistinger, Bigé, and including Czeglédy), on the other hand, all those Western state and multinational companies, which during the left-wing governments were able to wheelbarrow the public wealth out of the country on a red carpet with guaranteed profits, and could buy our public utilities for a pittance , half of our food industry, our companies that are key to national security.

Let me give you an example that cannot be repeated enough.
I see that, unfortunately, it is not at all in the public consciousness. Well, let's change it! With four contracts, the state threw away as much as the pension fund's assets"
- this is the title of a fact-finding article published in 2019 on the business website G7 about the concessional construction of the M5 and M6 highways.
For those who might not be familiar with the G7, I would like to point out: it is clearly an opposition paper, so propagandism (as a "counter-argument") is ruled out from the start. Here are some quotes from the excellent, factual article: Last year [that is, in 2018], the Hungarian state paid HUF 114 billion to the owners of the M5 and M6 highways. These are the most expensive concessions between the public and private sectors in Hungary , or PPP contracts with the more commonly known English abbreviation. According to liberal economists, this advantageous construction was used by the MSZP-SZDSZ governments between 2002-2010, and was also enforced by the European Union.

(…) PPP is not a very complicated construction, it actually involves a company implementing a typical state investment, then operating it for a relatively long time, even several decades, and the state pays for it in annual installments.
This does not increase the public debt, but it is actually just an accounting trick: Eurostat does not include this in the indebtedness, but in reality it is the same debt burden as if the investment had been financed by issuing government securities. (…) The European consulting companies specializing in this produce foundational studies for any project, they were also prepared for the M6. The crowning achievement of the investment was the four tunnels drilled into the hills, which have been admired by the country ever since.

(…) According to our calculations, if the government implemented the M5 and M6 projects with loans at that time, it would have saved HUF 2,853 billion, or 7 percent of today's Hungarian GDP. (…) It is definitely positive that the PPP projects did not continue in Hungary, in comparison, even the constructions, which are believed to be significantly overpriced, cause much less damage to the country."

2853 BILLION!
I would make this article mandatory reading for all opposition voters. For those who cannot remember because of their age, but even more so for those who, due to their obscurity, do not wish to remember how Gyurcsány and his gang plundered and brought the country to the brink of bankruptcy. In 2010, we were a hair's breadth away from bankruptcy. The national debt and the budget deficit are skyrocketing, the state assets are being sold off to foreigners, and Hungarians are driven into foreign currency debt. I say it slowly, so that the opposition also understands: the left caused HUF 2,853 billion in damage to the country just with these two highways. (And let's not even talk about Sukoró, Hunvald, Hagyó, Czeglédy, Fülöp Benedek and the rest.)

It's time for those who have been playing stadiums until now, because they were so worried about the public wealth, to start playing nice and ppp. We'll let you know when they can stop."
