124, mostly elderly, chronic patients died, and another 1,680 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus.
The number of infected people identified in Hungary increased to 787,647.
The number of those who died rose to 28,297, and those who recovered rose to 546,246. The number of active infected people is 213,104. Hospitals treat 4,104 coronavirus patients, of whom 485 are on ventilators. There are 24,902 people under official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 5,475,551.
So far, 4,153,038 people have been vaccinated, of which 2,315,428 have already received the second dose of the vaccine
