"When will the mayor finally do something so that the money of the people of Budapest is not spent on fines - now almost on a weekly basis?"

According to the statement of the Fidesz capital organization on Friday, the capital's transport company did not comply with the public procurement rules again, now they made a mistake in connection with the renovation of Blaha Lujza Square, for which the Budapest Transport Center was fined another five million forints.

They wrote on their Facebook page that BKK and BKV, i.e. the companies dealing with transport organization and operation of the capital city government, have so far received a fine of more than HUF 200 million, which is paid by Budapest taxpayers.

They put it this way: "we can't even be sure that there has been a properly conducted public procurement since 2019...".

When will Gergely Karácsony investigate and find those responsible for how this sloppy work can occur at companies in the capital? When will the malfunctioning system be fixed? "When will the mayor finally do something so that the money of the people of Budapest is not spent on fines - now almost on a weekly basis?" - the questions were listed.
