You don't want to go out in this gloomy, rainy weather, even though it would be nice to participate in outdoor programs because of the holiday. Many traditions and customs are associated with this day.

For example, it was believed that the dew collected at the dawn of Pentecost made maidens more beautiful, the water of the purified wells gave good health for the whole year, and the green branches pinned to the houses and barns protected the crops from harmful spirits.

Those who visit the website of the House of Traditions can take part in reviving similar traditions in their homes.
Because the House of Traditions invites you to a series of online programs on Red Pentecost from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Among other things, the musical programs include the holiday-related concert of the Berka Ensemble and the Bajkó Orchestra. As part of the church music concerts, this time there will be a selection of our secular and sacred folk song treasures related to Pentecost. Famous folk singers now sing together with their students. The Hungarian State People's Ensemble prepared a real treat for this day, reviving the tradition of dancing out the Maypole in their composition.

There will be presentations about the Pentecost holiday , but gastronomy will not be left out either, as they will present the ins and outs of preparing three different Pentecost delicacies.

Of course, the children will not be left without a program either , as they can enjoy crafts, folk tales and quiz games.
