Contrary to left-wing rumours, the South Buda Central Hospital will definitely be built - promises the prime minister's agent responsible for implementation.

The trustee emphasized that the budget for the construction of the hospital is available, and there is no obstacle to the fact that by the end of 2023, on a project basis, "even for the purpose of financing a healthcare project, our country may decide to take out an EU or other favorable loan" - the European Recovery Loan Fund referred to this in detail.
The resulting institution will not only be a building, it will be an independent brand
"Already during the design, we pay attention to ensure that DBC is not just a building, but also a brand. Our goal is to be able to establish a closer relationship than usual with the patients who come here. On the one hand, patients can get to know the services available here, either as interested parties or as stakeholders, and on the other hand, we can provide them with as much help as possible. These are convenience services that are not yet common in Hungarian healthcare, but will hopefully become common over time. It is important that in the case of DBC, the patient can handle many things comfortably from home, which on the one hand means less stress, and on the other hand, the hospital can prepare better and more efficiently for the patient's arrival"
Bedros said.
"At DBC, literally everything will be about the patient: not only about his recovery, but also about creating the optimal environment that best serves him. Functions that are thought to be extra at first glance - from the single room to the bank branch - can be considered a kind of as an investment, since looking at the long-term result, the overall social benefit resulting from a better and faster recovery result, it all pays off: fewer days in the hospital, shorter periods of sick pay, less medication"
- promised the prime minister's agent, who says that the institution will represent a completely new level in terms of both outpatient and inpatient care, compared to what has been customary in Hungary so far, which can be regarded as a kind of flagship project in the future.
