Today, Hungary is a more protected and safer country from an epidemiological point of view than any Western European or neighboring country.

Hungary is the second most transplanted country in Europe. Thanks to vaccinations, in Hungary we were able to start restarting everyday life weeks earlier than in EU countries. The government has therefore decided on the final rules for the upcoming adult and U21 European football championships, as well as the Hungarian senior national football team's domestic matches, taking into account UEFA's recommendations and international experience.

Pursuant to the Government Decree, a person coming to the matches who does not have Hungarian citizenship can enter the country as a spectator if he proves that no coronavirus was detected in his body with a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to entry - issued in Hungarian or English. Today, most European countries can only be entered by presenting a negative PCR test.

In the case of foreign nationals coming to the matches, if they show their valid participation ticket for the match, the provisions for persons protected against the coronavirus must be applied, so they can stay in accommodation, inside the catering business and in the leisure venues.

The detailed rules are contained in the government decree published in the Hungarian Gazette.
