One of the official fan zones of the European Football Championship, which is partly organized in Budapest, has opened its doors at the Városliget Artificial Ice Rink, where sports fans and those who want to relax are waiting for 31 days.

The free fan zone opens every day at 11 a.m., on match days it closes one hour after the last match, and on holidays at 10 p.m. At the venue, the excitement of watching the match together is provided by four giant projectors - each measuring 60 square meters - and the performers on the main stage provide additional entertainment. In addition to these, a number of free programs await those interested, regardless of age and gender. The 10,000-square-meter artificial grass picnic area, reminiscent of a football field, but still unadulterated, will have, among other things, an e-sports corner, teqball, a skill obstacle course and a photo corner, of course, in addition to the indispensable food and drink service.

Epidemic-proof support is facilitated by the fact that it will be possible to enter the spacious, open-air venue with a protection card, as well as a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours, or an official certificate that the person has been infected within six months. Thermal gates were also placed at the entrance as an additional safety step.

The operative manager of the fans' village said that the capacity of the Városliget venue is 11,000 people, and that they have a technique at their disposal that allows them to close the gates in the event of a full house.
