The Fidesz parliamentary faction expects more dynamic and powerful economic growth than ever before, and if the growth exceeds 5.5 percent, then unprecedented economic measures to help people may come

- said the leader of the representative group in Kossuth radio's Sunday newspaper program.

Máté Kocsis, speaking about Fidesz's season-ending faction meeting in Debrecen, said: the focus of the meeting was on restarting social life and the economy, as well as "evaluating the period we left behind".
He emphasized: the protection against the epidemic, the vaccination program was successful, Hungary was able to start the restart and the opening 1-1.5 months earlier than other member states of the European Union.
According to economic experts, this means a one percent GDP increase by 2021, "and this gives us hope to think about many unusual economic measures," he added. He said

if the economy grows by 5.1 percent by the beginning of next year, we will reach the pre-crisis level. If it is even higher than this, it reaches 5.5 percent, then they can significantly reduce taxes on work, raise the minimum wage to HUF 200,000, raise the graduate minimum wage to over HUF 260,000 and introduce the tax exemption for those under the age of 25, and then there will be family tax refund.

He also said that the restoration of the 13th month pension was also among the items on the agenda discussed, that the economic indicators at the beginning of next year will be decisive, but he believed that the objectives were realistic.
He also drew attention to the fact that the coronavirus epidemic hit the Hungarian economy in a good, strong state, so it was easier to get through it and it will be easier to recover.
"The group was optimistic," he noted. Regarding the fact that a new national consultation will be launched soon, Máté Kocsis said that people's opinions will be sought in it, among other things, on the extension of the credit moratorium. The national consultation is about the period ahead, not only economic and financial issues may arise, he emphasized.
He said: the following years represent a dangerous period, the period of epidemics is coming, of migration, of people's migration, while the EU's intention has not changed regarding migration, because of this "we will get involved in big discussions again" . According to Máté Kocsis, this is why it is necessary to know people's opinions and positions, because they can be used, and even should be used in European debates. Regarding the adoption of the anti-pedophile law, he said that most of the law is a criminal law-based regulation against pedophiles. "The law is only about the protection of children, and it should no longer be a matter of debate that there is no place for any type of sexual propaganda in the lives of 5-6 or even 8-10-year-old children," he said.
He added: content that is not suitable for their age must be "removed" from children's lives and education, because the child's sexual education is "exclusively the parent's right and duty". He believed that neither the state nor non-governmental organizations "have anything to earn" in this area.
He noted that many parents experienced that the civilians did not provide information, "but violent propaganda aimed at domination". He also mentioned that the law defines the framework, and several executive decrees will be prepared in the summer, which regulate "what is allowed and what is not."
Máté Kocsis highlighted that, as a father of two children, he insists on this: "no one should orient my child in a direction that I consider inappropriate at school or anywhere".
He emphasized: the law does not tell anyone about their different sexual identity or adults, it does not exclude anyone, "it only protects the child from content inappropriate for their age", while broadening the rights of parents and giving them more room for maneuver in raising their children.
He noted that he was surprised that the EU refers to the violation of human values. "Until now, I thought that the protection of children was also a common European value," remarked the leader of the Fidesz faction.
