In the past few days, some online portals reported on the Facebook announcement of the politician Ákos Hadházy, which claims that, according to NAV, there is suspicion of budget fraud in the EU projects of the National Public Service University. The University rejects all politically motivated false rumors that seek to damage the good reputation of NKE.

Since its foundation, the University has been leading significant EU projects in the field of public service development. From 2016, the EU supported the building of NKE's training and research capacities with HUF 23.5 billion, and through this, the development of the staff and knowledge bases of Hungarian public administration officials.

The tasks that the EU Commission audit did not wish to support were either not
implemented by the University or financed from the University's own budget. The HUF 23.5 billion subsidy provided by the EU supported the Hungarian public sector and the national economy, they write in their announcement.
